Compatibility

AddFlow 5 is fully compatible with the previous versions on a source-code level. 
The files created with the versions 3 or 4 (with the SaveFile method) can be read with AddFlow 5.

What's new in version 5?

AddFlow 5 offers the following new features: 

• Custom shapes
• Custom drawing with OwnerDraw events
• Link autorouting
• Gradient color for nodes
• Rounded corners for polyline links
• JumpSize and RoundCornerSize properties allowing selecting the size of the link jumps and link rounded corners.
• CanChangeOrg and CanChangeDst properties
• UndoNode, RedoNode, UndoLink, RedoLink properties
• BeforeChangeOrg and BeforeChangeDst events
• XMLFlow.ocx: a ocx control allowing loading/saving diagrams in XML. The C++ source code of XMLFlow is available for AddFlow customers.
• PrnFlow5.ocx: a new version of PrnFlow, a control allowing the printing and the previewing of the AddFlow diagrams. The C++ source code of PrnFlow is available for AddFlow customers.
• OFlow.ocx: an orthogonal graph layout control. It is a part of LayoutFlow, the set of AddFlow graph autolayout ActiveX controls: HFlow, OFlow, SFlow, TFlow.

Remarks

• If you have purchased AddFlow 4.2 in 2005, then you are entitled for a free upgrade to AddFlow 5.4. In such a case, you have just to contact us to obtain a new license number.
